Born 10 July 1922, in Richmond (Virginia); died 1996.

Painter.

Nell Blaine was a student at Richmond School of Art, Virginia between 1939 and 1943. From 1943 to 1944 she studied under Hans Hofmann. In 1946, she came to Paris, where she attended classes with Stanley William Hayter at Studio 17. She was awarded a watercolour prize at the Norfolk Museum in 1945. She
