Painter. Figures, genre scenes, portraits, landscapes.

After studying law, Henri Blanc-Fontaine changed to an artistic career, attending the lectures of Léon Cogniet in Paris and exhibiting at the salon from 1848. Together with Diodore Rahoult he carried out the decoration of the entrance hall of the museum and library in Grenoble
