Born in Brescia, in 1659 according to Orlandi; died 1742, in Brescia.

Painter, draughtsman. Allegorical subjects, battles, genre scenes, still-lifes.

Faustino Bocchi studied under Angelo Everardi ('Fiamminghino'). His work frequently takes the form of battle scenes, particularly involving cavalry charges. Lanzi also mentions what he calls 'certain facetious paintings of dwarfs', which were exhibited in various galleries, notably a Sacrifice
