Born 1841, in Naples; died 1918.

Painter. History painting, genre scenes, landscapes.

Boschetto was a pupil of Morelli and Filippo Palizzi and brilliantly portrayed scenes of life in Rome. In 1880 he exhibited S Lucia of Naples in Turin, followed by The Death of Socrates in Rome in 1883. Other classical subjects included The Banishments of Scylla, and Agrippina Spying
