Andrea Boscoli was a pupil of Santi di Tito. Lanzi states that Baccio Ciarpi was also his teacher. He travelled considerably and left works in San Pinesio, Fabriano, and in other parts of Picenum. One of his most important paintings is St John the Baptist Preaching
