Vaclav Bostik studied art at Prague polytechnic from 1933 to 1937 and then again from 1937 to 1939, and finally at the academy of fine arts in Prague in 1945.

Bostik's compositions use simple figures tending towards the geometric: lines, squares, circles and spheres, whose very fine projection
