Painter, engraver. Battles, historical figures, historical portraits.

Jacques Bouillard was admitted to the Académie Royale on 26 April 1788 but did not become an academician. He exhibited at a number of Salons, showing mostly engravings, including Portrait of the Emperor in 1806.
