Lucie Bouniol studied at the school of fine arts in Marseilles and later in Paris where she was awarded the Chenavard prize. She also received instruction from Bourdelle and Paul Landowski at their respective studios. She exhibited regularly in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français, became a member
