Painter, engraver, lithographer, draughtsman. Military subjects, genre scenes, portraits, landscapes.
Bour exhibited at the Paris Salon between 1844 and 1880. Having come to Paris as a small boy, he left in 1861 to return to Lunéville, his birthplace.
