Paul Bouré was a pupil of G. Geefs and E. Simonis at Brussels. Subsequently he was under the tutelage of Santarelli in Florence, where he also attended the academy. Noteworthy among his works are Young Faun Lying Down, Cupid, Prometheus Bound and Child Playing Marbles.
