Born 31 July 1730, in Ravières (Yonne); died 28 April 1805, in Paris.

Sculptor.

A pupil of Vinache, Bridan won the academy's second prize for sculpture in 1753, with David Delivering the Children of Saul to the Gabaonites, and the first prize in 1754 with the Massacre of the Holy Innocents. He was accredited to the academy on 30 June 1764,
