Marcelle Brunswig studied at the Académie de la Grande-Chaumière in Paris. She principally painted landscapes of the Mediterranean and Italy.

From 1925 she took part in collective exhibitions, including the Salon d'Automne in Paris (1938); in Pau, where she created the Salon d'Automne Béarnais (1940-1944); and the Salon des Artistes
