Edwin Bucher was a pupil of Auguste Rodin and Antoine Bourdelle; he exhibited at the Paris Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts between 1910 and 1921 and, from 1923, at the Salon des Artistes Français (where he received an honourable mention, also in 1923).
