Painter, illustrator. Genre scenes, seascapes.

Camoreyt studied under Léon Bonnat, Fernand Cormon and Albert Maignan. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français (of which he later became a member) and was awarded medals in 1899, 1900 and 1905. He illustrated Pierre Loti's Ramuntcho and Anatole France's The Gods are Athirst (Les Dieux Ont Soif).
