Born 3 June 1638, in Liège; died c. 1675.

Painter. History painting, portraits.

Jean Guillaume Carlier followed his master Bertholet Flemalle to Paris and was married in 1669. At the age of 37 he died of shock as he was painting the family of the commanding officer of Liège when the latter received the order to let the French enter the city.
