Antonio Carminati was a pupil of Enrico Butti in Milan, Odoardo Tabbacchi in Turin, and Giulio Monteverde in Rome. He produced a vast number of works, ranging from statues, to the cupola of Milan Cathedral, to a Monument to Verdi. Key works include: St Aloysius Gonzaga and the Plague
