Painter.

Michel Carrade studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse and moved to Paris in 1946. Between 1954 and 1956, he taught at the Académie d'Art Plastique, then at the École Alsacienne, where his interactive approach to teaching spawned an exhibition entitled Du Jeu au Signe, literally 'From Game-Play to Sign', held at the Musée de l'Art
