Béatrice Casadesus studied painting and sculpture under Henri-Georges Adam at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris from 1959. She went on to teach fine arts at an architectural training college in Paris. She was awarded a Prix de Rome runner-up prize in 1964 and in 1968-1969 obtained a jury mention
