Like his brother Luigi, Emilio Cavenaghi was a pupil of Bertini at the Accademia in Milan. He stayed in Pisa for a long time because of his health. There, he painted architectural subjects. He collaborated with Bertini on the decoration of the room and stage curtain of the Manzoni Theatre in Milan. He illustrated
