Born 1836 or 1838, in Fontebuona, near Florence; died 1886, in Florence.

Sculptor, painter, caricaturist.

Cecioni was a pupil at the Accademia in Florence from 1850 to 1860. After traveling to Naples, he met up with Nittis. He exhibited The Suicide Victim at the Accademia in Florence and executed a bust of Leopardi, now at the Biblioteca Marucelliana in Florence.
