Painter, draughtsman. Religious subjects, portraits, genre scenes.

Bartolomeo Cesi's master was Giovanni-Francesco Bezzi, and he studied the works of Pellegrino Tibaldi. He worked for churches across Italy: in Imola, Bologna, Florence, Ferrara, Siena, Medina and Sassuolo.
