Painter, sculptor.

Chauveau was a well-known surgeon. He was also a writer and Pierre Bonnard illustrated his Stories of Little Renaud (Histoires du Petit Renaud). He produced paintings and sculptures, exhibiting in Paris at the Salon d'Automne in 1911 and 1913.
