Born 19 March 1761, in Versailles; died 28 May 1809, in Paris.

Engraver.

Jacques Coiny studied under Suvée and J.-P. Lebas. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1802 to 1806. He is remembered for 34 plates on the saints and mythological or historical subjects, and also for vignettes for the works of Racine, Léonard and La Fontaine.
