Painter. History painting.

Collin de Vermont was a pupil of Rigaud and Jouvenet. He studied in Rome and entered the Académie in 1725. In 1727, he was one of the artists to work on decorations for the Apollo Gallery in the Louvre. His works include Sickness of Antiochus
