Born 20 April 1871, in New York; died 1941.

Painter.

Douglas John Connah studied art in Weimar, at the royal academy in Düsseldorf and at the Académie Julian in Paris, where he worked under the direction of Benjamin-Constant and J.P. Laurens. In 1894 he exhibited at the Royal Academy in London. He was president of the New York School of Art.
