Charlotte Corinth was a pupil of Éva Stort and was taught by Maximilian Schäfer at the school of fine arts in Berlin. She exhibited for the first time in 1906 in Berlin. Lovis Corinth, whose wife she became, painted her portrait, which was auctioned in Cologne in 1957.
