G.-B. Coriolano studied painting with Giovanni-Lod. Valesio, but was best known as an engraver. His works for churches in Bologna include two paintings in S Anna, representing St Nicolas and St Bruno, and an altarpiece for the Annunziata, with St John, St James, and St Bernard. He
