Born in Paris; died October 1763, in Paris.

Painter.

Gabriel Cornu was the son of the sculptor Jean Cornu and a pupil of Largillière. Although he was an assistant teacher at the Académie de St-Luc in Paris, he took part in very few exhibitions there. He exhibited some religious and mythological scenes in 1751, 1752 and 1753.
