Born 1819, in Chenôve (Côte-d'Or); died 1876 or 1874, in Chenôve (Côte d'Or).

Painter. Portraits, landscapes, landscapes with figures.

From 1848, when he settled for good in Chenôve, he started to dedicate himself to painting. He exhibited at the Paris Salon and in regional exhibitions from 1857, notably in Dijon in 1858 and Besançon and Troyes in 1860, receiving a silver medal
