Jacques Cortellari studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and has shown his work at solo exhibitions, notably at the Galerie Guigné. His compositions have a fairy-tale quality and are replete with mysterious animal shapes. He also produces engravings and drawings heightened with watercolours.
