Sculptor.

Jules Félix Coutan was a pupil of Cavelier and was awarded the Prix de Rome in 1871. His first Salon exhibition was in 1876 when he won a first-place medal. In 1881 he took first prize in the competition for a commemorative monument of the Constituent Assembly at Versailles. He
