Born 1795, in Le Puy-en-Velay (Haute-Loire); died 8 February 1855, in Paris.

Sculptor, founder.

He trained under Cartellier. A neo-Gothic fountain, located near the chapel of St-Clair in the tiny village of Aiguilhe in the outskirts of Le Puy, is attributed to him. He was known notably as a caster.
