Watercolourist, painter (gouache), draughtsman. Portraits, landscapes.

From a very early age, George Cuitt the Elder was patronised by Sir Lawrence Dundas, who sent him to Italy when he was around 26 years old. In Italy, he was able to develop through the study and contemplation of the art treasures
