Born 30 October 1824, on the Krabbesholm estate, near Skive; died 11 February 1907, in Sorø.

Painter. Genre scenes.

A pupil of the Kunstakademi in Copenhagen from 1841, Christen Dalsgaard studied painting with Rörbye at the same time. He exhibited from 1847, and won the Neuhausen prize on several occasions. In 1862 he was appointed teacher of drawing at the academy in
