Painter, draughtsman. Religious subjects, allegorical subjects, mythological subjects, figures, portraits.

Dandini was taught by a number of masters, notably Francesco Currado, Domenico Cresti (known as Passignano), and Cristofano Allori. His own pupils included the Vincenzo brothers and Stefano della Bella. He followed several schools, but seems to have been mainly influenced by Passignan,
