Painter, engraver, illustrator. Figure compositions, nudes, portraits, landscapes with figures, still-lifes. Designs for tapestries.

After his schooling in Vannes, Pierre Dubreuil went to Paris. He left the École des Beaux-Arts after one term and joined Henri Matisse's studio in 1908, where he studied painting and sculpture.
