Sculptor, modeller, stucco artist.

In 1716, Charles Dubut became court painter to the Elector Max Emmanuel of Bavaria. He worked at the palaces of Nymphenburg and Schleissheim and in the Elector's gardens. The park at Nymphenburg has a cascade design of Aeolus and Flora by him.
