Sébastien Dulac studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris with Perron, Auguste Vinchon and Jérôme Martin Langlois. He showed work at the Paris Salon from 1824 to 1851. His small genre pictures, often showing scenes of Italian life, are picturesque and vivid. They include Happiness is Better than Wealth
