Engraver, painter.

A pupil of Vien, Jean Duplessi-Bertaux produced a large number of plates of travels in Greece and Italy and the work on Egypt by M. de Choiseul. His work appeared in the Salon in 1795 and 1805 and he made several engravings of the events of the Revolution. His works
