Born 22 July 1815, in Meersburg, on Lake Constance; died 19 September 1860, in Eberling (Upper Bavaria).

Painter. Figures, landscapes with figures, animals.

Robert Eberle worked initially with J. J. Biedermann in Constance, then at the Munich academy where he received advice and encouragement from Cornelius. Later he became an honorary member of the academy of this city.
