[not available online]Maurice Ehlinger studied with François Flameng and Jules Adler. He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, winning an honourable mention in 1928 and a second-class medal in 1929. In 2002 his work was included in the exhibition Passing through... the Lorraine Seen by its Painters
