Ehrenberg trained at Dresden and Munich art academies. He lived in Munich, where he exhibited from 1906 onwards. He painted landscapes, particularly in France ( Evening on the Shore, In the Port of Honfleur) as well as figures ( Young Peasant Woman, Painting Students, Woman from Dachau).
