Born 19 March 1760, in Trapini; died 16 February 1821, in Rome.

Painter. Genre scenes, portraits.

Errante studied in Palermo and Rome, and was employed at the Palazzo Caserta in Naples. His political views forced him to move to Milan, and then to Rome in 1810. He excelled at portraits, but painted genre scenes as well.
