Painter. Landscapes with figures, landscapes, seascapes.

A pupil of the seascape painter W. Krause in Berlin, and of Le Poittevin in Paris, Wilhelm Eschke travelled in England, Belgium, Holland and France. He settled in Berlin, where he received an award in 1879.
