Painter (gouache), watercolourist. Portraits, genre scenes, landscapes, animals.

Thomas Faed began to practise the arts at a very young age under the supervision of his older brother John in Edinburgh. The latter had sent for Thomas upon the death of their father. Thomas attended the art school
