Elisabeth Faure was a pupil of Lucien Simon. From 1933, she exhibited in the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris. There she received a second-class medal in 1935, and, in the same year, the national prize. Faure painted landscapes of Brittany, Auvergne and Africa around 1930.
