Born 1696, in Linz, near Pfullendorf; died 2 January 1770, in Mimmenhausen.

Sculptor, draughtsman.

Joseph Feichtmayr studied in Schongau and Salmansweiler, before working for the churches in Weingarten, St Gall and Salmansweiler. He also spent time in Solothurn and Einsiedeln.

Feichtmayr's most important works were his sculptures on the east façade of the cathedral of St Gall, as well as the seats
