Ettore was the son of Filippo Ferrari. He won the Grand Prix at the 1889 Exposition Universelle in Paris. He built a large number of monuments and statues of famous men for towns in Italy, including Rome, Rovigo, Pisa, Pavia and Milan, and for towns
