Pierre Fix-Masseau was the sculptor Pierre Félix's Fix-Masseau's son. In Paris he studied at the École Boule and the École des Arts Décoratifs, working from 1926 to 1928 with Cassandre.

His best-known posters, in particular Punctuality, were done for the SNCF, the French Railways, in 1932.
