A pupil of Charpentier, Per Gustaf Floding frequently stayed in Paris. He engraved a number of plates, among which are Portrait of Alexandre Roslin, Painter after Roslin; Apollo and Daphne after F. Boucher; Gustav III, King of Sweden after Pasch; A Battle after Casanova; and The Wolf and the Fox after Oudry.
